Drug Free Communities

The Drug Free Communities Support Program targets children and teens with alcohol, tobacco and other drug related issues. This program is a federal and state grant funded initiative to provide treatment services and prevention to youth at risk for abusing alcohol, tobacco and other drugs. The services provided are free of charge to youth and their families.

Youth may refer themselves or be referred by their school, parents, the Department of Children and Families, law enforcement or other community agencies. A family-focused approach is utilized, which provides a unique opportunity for parents to assist their children in making necessary changes and healthier choices.

The Drug Free Communities Program is a voluntary program designed to provide treatment options including family, individual and group counseling and drug education services.
