Primary responsibilities include the oversight and management of medication distribution, accountability and verification of youths’ medications brought to the shelter and verifying that all youth health and medical information at admission is accurate. This is a Part-time position. Compensation is $30.00 per hour/10 hours per week.

SNAP (Stop Now And Plan) is an evidence-based curriculum intended to serve boys and girls ages 6 through 11 exhibiting certain risk factors. The program will be administered to youth and their parents in small group settings and to youth in schools. The successful applicant should possess the following: Bachelor’s Degree/ experience in case work may be considered in lieu of degree. A strong background in casework, experience in functioning as part of a multidisciplinary team. Ability to work therapeutically with children and their families through a behavioral systems and social learning approach. Youth Care Worker- Lake City, FL

Interface Youth Program Northwest is seeking motivated and compassionate individuals to work with at-risk youth as caregivers in a residential setting. As a Youth Care Worker, you will be a coach and positive role model. You will help youth learn and demonstrate social skills, positive relationship behaviors, and successful job and school attendance skills. As a member of our team, you will receive training and attend staff meetings identified as being essential to success on the job.
Qualified candidates will possess and demonstrate the following: Attention to detail, ability to prioritize, multi-task, and switch gears in a dynamic environment, good listening skills, ability to be consistent and follow-through, professional work ethic, ability to work under pressure, and positive mindset. Experience working with youth and children preferred. Must be able to attend required staff training on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month from 4-6 p.m. Education requirements: High School diploma Shifts available: Part-time weekend, day, evening and overnight. Applicants who complete the skills assessment and submit a statement demonstrating how they possess each of the qualifications listed above will be selected for an interview.
