CDS Family & Behavioral Health Services, 52 years in the community

SERVING  THE  COMMUNITY  SINCE  1970

ABOUT US

CDS Family & Behavioral Health Services, Inc. is a private 501 (c)(3) non-profit social services agency that has provided services in North Central Florida for over 52 years. CDS has different programs and serves a wide variety of community needs. Our goal is to provide the best wrap-around services, but we are also a great point of contact for many partners. If our services cannot assist your particular case, we can connect you with a partner in our community who can.

All of our programs fall under the umbrella of the organization's mission statement, " Strengthening Communities by Building Strong Families."

We accomplish this through our prevention, counseling, and youth programs. In our programs, youth learn valuable social and cognitive-behavioral skills, manage their emotions, and handle situations better at home and school.

CDS has offices in Gainesville, Lake City, and Palatka. Depending on the program we cover Alachua, Bradford, Baker, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Lafayette, Levy, Putnam, Suwannee, Taylor and Union. CDS is the sole provider of many of its services, such as our runway short-term residential program, in North Central Florida.
