Join us! Fill out the following form to begin your volunteer screening!

  • Interface Youth Program: Interface is a residential shelter for runaway, displaced, and/or defiantly-behaving youth. Volunteers are needed 7 days a week and help youth develop social skills while simultaneously assisting shelter staff.

  • SNAP ("Stop Now and Plan"): Assist with classes for both children aged 6-11 and their parents in the evening.

  • Outreach: Aid in resource development, marketing, fundraising, community outreach activities and various office tasks.

  • Safe Place: CDS Family & Behavioral Health Services is the local Safe Place provider. We have over 90 Safe Places in Alachua County that require annual site checks. Safe Place volunteers visit the sites and ensure that protocol is being met in order to best support the youth of our community.

  • Prevention Programs: Our two prevention programs: "Too Good for Drugs" and "Project Success," are designed to help at-risk children. Volunteers are needed during the hours of 8am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday, during the school year. Volunteers are also welcomed to assist during our summer camps.
