SNAP Facilitator (Lake City, Fl.)

CDS Family & Behavioral Health Services, Inc. has a job opportunity working as a Facilitator for our SNAP Program in Lake City. SNAP (Stop Now And Plan) is an evidence-based, gender-specific, prevention curriculum intended to serve boys and girls (ages 6 through 11) who have been identified as exhibiting certain risk factors. Services are delivered to youth, and concurrently, their parents in small group settings. The SNAP facilitator is responsible for administering the SNAP curriculum to either the parent or child group during the 13-week SNAP group cycle. The facilitator must attend the 5-day core SNAP training and submit mock role-plays for each of the role-plays in the facilitator manual prior to the group cycle. Youth Care Worker (Lake City, Fl.)

Interface Youth Program Northwest is seeking motivated and compassionate individuals to work with at-risk youth as caregivers in a residential setting. As a Youth Care Worker, you will be a coach and positive role model. You will help youth learn and demonstrate social skills, positive relationship behaviors, and successful job and school attendance skills. As a member of our team, you will receive training and attend staff meetings identified as being essential to success on the job.

Qualified candidates will possess and demonstrate the following: Attention to detail, ability to prioritize, multi-task, and switch gears in a dynamic environment, good listening skills, ability to be consistent and follow-through, professional work ethic, ability to work under pressure, and positive mindset. Experience working with youth and children preferred. Must be able to attend required staff training on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month from 4-6 p.m. Education requirements: High School diploma

Shifts available: Part-time weekend, day, evening and overnight. Compensation: $10.00 hourly

Residential Counselor Interface Youth Program (Gainesville, Fl.)

We are looking for a professional to work with at-risk youth and their families, providing excellent counseling services and developing partnerships through collaboration with organizations in the community. Qualified candidates will possess the following skills and experience: Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or other behavioral sciences preferred. Strong background in casework and experience in functioning as part of an interdisciplinary team preferred. Working knowledge of family systems, interventions and adolescent development preferred. Independent Living Counselor -Independent Living Program (Gainesville, Fl.)

We are looking for professionals to identify and assess the needs of youth between the ages of 17 through 23 in the Foster and Extended Foster Care system (EFC), as well as Postsecondary Education Services and Support Program (PESS). Responsibilities/ Requirements include: Evaluating, coordinating, and ensuring necessary services and/or treatments are provided, Completion of required assessments, Assisting individuals and families by using such activities as delineating alternatives, helping to articulate goals, and providing needed information, Preparation of case/ status reports and making recommendations to the courts, Our primary service areas include: Columbia, Suwannee, and Bradford counties. Current Florida Child Welfare Professional Certification preferred.
